I bought:
- the steering wheel
- airbag
- clockspring
- and a plug wth wires which connects to the clockspring
Now I placed it, see pictures below.
I also made a manual, or people who are interested
It was the last stap to finish my complete conversion form the old dashboard to a GTA dashboard. (see pictures in autograph)
Ofcourse I had help from a very gifted and smart person. He helps a lot of people here in the Netherlands with their Alfa's. HE IS THE BEST, HANS THANK YOU!!!

Hi Davidek,
I had my steering wheel replaced by a TI/GTA one.
I bought it new, since this particular model couldn't be found S/H, and even new was hard to get.
I bought also a S/H airbag and a lights switch module with the clock spring from Claudio, who I believe you already know...
I can't give you much details about the job itself because I had it done at the dealers, and I don't know much about car's electrics, anyway...
I can tell anyway that I also needed an interface for the remote radio commands and a compatible radio...
About the job, the electrician who did it said that it wasn't an easy job, since you have to re-create the wirings. I know there are only three to the radio, but are several others (power, ground, horn, airbag...) to be connected... don't know exactly how many...
It seemed to had been some issue with the horn, and I got back a relay which I don't know where from it where, but probably something to do with that...
There was also an issue with the airbag: when I first brought the car with everything installed and working, the next day, suddenly I had the airbag alarm light on!!!
I got it back to the garage and they found out through the Examiner that it was the clock spring causing the fault and triggering the alarm light: the examiner showed "too high resistance (ohm)" malfunction on it.
The electrician told me that it would be very hard to track down the fault without the examiner, and that he had to check all the connections, as it could be anywhere... So, after replacing the clock spring, it was fine again, so far...
It is installed now for about two months...
And that's all I can say about this...
Sorry that I'm not able to help you any further...
BTW, are your bumpers AR originals? Your fenders don't look like the GTA's... I found some GTA replica bumpers that fit on "normal" 156 and wondered if yours would be like these... You could give me some advice, in that case...
Cheers,
Leo

Be interested too. Way better wheel than the one supplied in 2000.
Where can I get the manual you are talking about?

Congratulations, Davidek!!!
Very nice job indeed!
You said something about a manual... How can we get it?
I already had mine swaped, but I'd like to know more about this job... and so would others too, I guess...
Cheers,
Leo.
PS.: I apologize for my first reply... I didn't read your post correctly and I thought you were seeking help, when you didn't need it anymore... sorry...
