I recently realised that some of the excessive travel of the foot pedal was due to the 'anti-rattle' springs on the caliper were deformed, allowing the caliper to float around to much & for the pads to push the piston back in too much when idle.
new springs helpe dhte suitation, p/n's in latter posts.

I've been wondering if these are available as parts from the dealers? I think mine are fecked and the hook end is no way near as long as those in that pic if I remember correctly.... are those off the 147?

I think mine are rattling.... i get a click click everytime I brake (seems to be passenger side first followed by the drivers side)

you accusing ME of deforming them....... i reckon they were deformed before i got to them... honest !!!!

..........can't say i noticed any difference between the old ones that Mikey got and the new uns - bit shineyer perhaps
