Do replacement batteries, when bought from anywhere other than Alfa dealers have holes in the top so you can screw the fuse box back on?
I am changing my battery soon and am not too sure which sort to buy, but I want one with holes in!!
Be grateful for any info.

have you priced up an Alfa one? - don't assume that a genuine Alfa battery will be too pricey - I bought an Alfa 45Ah one from my local dealer recently - for £42 - and in stock too - now that ain't bad IMO!!

different matter if you don't have a dealer close of course!

The fuse box cover is secured to the battery, near the positive terminal.
It is screwed in with two small screws. It is a black plastic box that has a hinged lid. Mine is a Selespeed. Perhaps its unique to them, I really dont know?
