As you may have read - I have had a power steering leak that could not be 'bandaged' - stealers the only place to get 'em - so £100 worse off - I have changed the offending pipe today
New parts (only using one for now - if it aint broke, don't fix it )
Intake removed & battery tray out - 13mm & 10mm sockets & 10mm spanner
Undo clips by twisting a flat head screwdriver (note to self buy the proper 'pliers' ) & drain fluid into 'suitable' container
Shot of attempted bandage - 10/10 for my effort - 0/10 for result (bit like my karting )
Old pipe out - bit of 'jiggery pokery' involved getting it out - not too stressful really
New pipe in - again a bit of 'JP' involved getting it in - again not too stresful (tis like a 3D jigsaw )
I replaced the lower 'clip' with jubliee type
I had to use the longest extension arrangement to tighten it though
Bracket re-attached using 10mm socket (was removed for investingation / bandage escapade) - this is where the problem was (see later photo for damage) - sorry for the poor focus
The offending area - looks pretty nasty
Drink lager while doing write-up
(note to self for future projects - buy the special clip pliers )

big balls to ya Jon ... well done
wonder could you get the old pipe braised & sell it on ebay?
be sure to keep the pipes in your garage for 2 years, then throw them out 1 week before another member needs them ..... like Nayab did
