Using KWP7.1
{ address 0x00 + KWP8.1 option selected }
with a modified KKL interface [ wire from pin 7 connected to pin 3 ]
these are the Error codes for the MY97 Airbag:
1 Airbag control unit
2 Airbag control unit supply voltage
3 Control light for airbag system
4 Earth connection to control unit housing
5 Display for deactivation of airbag, passenger side
6 Crash Signal
7 Crash Signal
8 Airbag ignition circuit, driver side
9 Airbag ignition circuit, passenger side
0B Seat belt tension ignition circuit, driver side
0C Seat belt tension ignition circuit, passenger side
0E Sidebag ignition circuit, driver side
0F Sidebag ignition circuit, passenger side
12 Resistance seat-occupied sensor, passenger side
14 Keylock switch for disabling passenger airbag
15 Driver side front side impact sensor
17 Passenger side front side impact sensor
19 Cable configuration
21 Ignition circuit, window bag, driver side
22 Ignition circuit, window bag, passenger side
28 Power supply
1A Warning lamp circuit

Called to see my mate today whos car had the red airbag illuminated. Using the modifiied cable mention earlier & KWP7.1 software I wa sbale to connect to the ecu & read the follwoing error:

at least that my interputation of the errors
Anyways i cleared them & they stayed clear.
Apparently the wife had driven the ca rover a kerb at lowish speed & then the airbag light came on.

I have the airbag ligth on, with KWP7.1 Software i get the next error:
Read diagnoctic faultcodes :
OK
New Data, ServideID : 07
Bytes received: 0E 27 00 6F FA
DTC: 0x0E = 14
state : 1
type : 0x07 Too high value
condition1 : 0x00
condition1 : 0x6F
counter : 0xFA
What is the meaning?
and solution to turn off the ligth?

Clean and the connector under the seat and cable tie it together tightly, I had the same problem after moving my passenger seat to fit a large mate in the back.
