Just flip the lid open on it and attach the jump lead to any bit of metal on that terminal. I remember that mine had a piece of metal extending out from one of the fuses at a slight angle. Made a perfect place to put the jump lead.

I think the 156's are OK, but when I got a jump off next doors focus I had to attach the negative lead to the suspension mount, not the negative terminal on the battery (neighbour said we could fry his stereo )

decided to take the battery out and charge it, it was only a third charged on the indicator, i guess this isnt enough to start the car?? Ive never had a problem with this before, but the other night the alarm went off and i couldnt turn it off because the batteries were flat in the fob, but i got it off after about 10mins, then i noticed that when i put the ignition on the radio came on, this has never happend before and ive always had to turn the radio on and off as i leave the car? any suggestions would be great, as ive actually sold the car and im droping it off to the new owners on friday!

Has the radio come on because it wants the code re-entering?

no its an aftermarket parrot radio, ive always turn it off when getting out of the car because it doesnt turn off when the igntion is off, but when the igition is turn on i normally have to turn the radio on, but now its coming on, on its own. Ive never taken the face off though?
