Hi Everyone

I recently posted about a motor control system failure and power loss and I am now in possession of the error codes, they are;

P1238 - Poor Air Quality
P0683 - Preheating unit (is this glow plugs?)
p1235 - Turbo pressure (i now think this caused the power loss which has now disappeared as quickly as it came on)

Does anyone now how these codes might link up and what the diagnosis may be? I was thinking the MAF/EGR may just need cleaning before i got the codes now im a little concerned about how they all link together. If anyone has had any experience or could point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Again

John

I had recent experience of this,
Cleaned the MAF - Still got limp mode
Replaced the MAF - Still got it.
But improved performance
Cleaned the MAP - Still got it.
But improved performance
Cleaned the EGR - Problem gone.
Maybe I should have started the other way round, but did not have the benefit of a code reader.
I would do as Smaky says and clean the EGR first, cheapest option.
But at least the other sensors are now working well and the difference is quite marked.
