Been away a long time and see one or two old timers still around.
A special greet to DaveC

Good to see the passion still lives.

It lives, but its very quiet!

Most people have sadly moved to other things non Alfa, I have an Abarth for example.

My next car will certainly be an Alfa and I hope all subsequent ones too

How are things with you?

Not bad but not great, I've decides to ressurect my Alfa after riding a motorcycle for a few years.
I actually forgot i had it in lock up hehehe.

Well after evicting the rodents and cleaning house, took a good look and it was't all bad. After a full service and uprated radiator and replaced Lambda and O/S bushing components, shes up for a MoT.

Heeey CJ ma man, cripes! you remember that waoo lol. yeah it was kina major we were pushing boundries. I think we must have influenced the latest Alfa Offerings. It has everything we ever desired in our own cars.
After a good clean and polish my car still gets looks. People still ask what car is it lol. The 156 is still a rare car on the road, a future classic me thinks.

Hey weve fought some wars this forum, remember that Irish bloke! AlfaDublin boosting the crap out of his car, ahaha

Comtemplating picking up a 156 again... Seen a few late models for extremely cheap prices... guessing the tin worm will be the issue with them now?

And yes still check back here now and again... miss the old place... mistt my 156..... sigh.

Bombing around in a Merc E class these days... its a tank alright but sigh..... miss the 156 and the other Alfas just don't look as pretty....

Hi Matt, the 156 does/ canhave an issue with the floor pan at the front corroding, though for some reason the facelift is worse, they are not always like that though, so there are a good few around that have been kept in check.

The 159 is actually worse for corrosion, the sub frames are rotten on most.

I think the time is now to catch a 156 in a good spec, get it sheened up and dry store it with a stick of (the usual) parts and you’ll have something still turning heads in 20 years time.

I thought about getting a 159 next, but I think we'll get a GT next.

We'll keep it for a couple of years then hopefully a new Giulia, or Giulietta Veloce, if they still make them.

If that doesn't come together, then a Civic Type R, it polarises opinion, which I like, failing that? God knows, Focus RS?

I fear Alfa want to build SUVs, which I don't want, so I am worried that the next Alfa could be our last one and I'll be gutted

Eyup chaps... I still pop in now and again!

12.5k on my Giulia Veloce and still LOVING it! God, she goes! Have done quite well not to pick up any points (or an ASBO) so far...
