Was there any standard for sportpack?
I am buying actually 156 2.5 V6 1999 (eper shows Ricco/distintive in name which I found out means rich) it has side skirts, black instruments with red light, black skin steering wheel but center console is wooden, it's lower than standard 156 and pressing fender down to check dampers feels pretty stiff, for eg my friend got 156 1.9 105 he don't have side skirts, but he have black instruments with red light, his center console is carbon style, didn't check is it original or just covered with foil, he's car seems to be much more lower than standard 156 and also much stiffnes can be felt by pressing on fenders.
Also I am wondering does it normal for sportpack that instruments are lit on light switch off?
My friend have like this and also in this 2.5 V6 is like this.
I hope my post is quite gramatically proper or at least understable.

Welcome!

Back in the day when this car was built they tended to put in it what was to hand on the production line! So its somewhat variable....

Sportpack varies, there was Sport pack 1, 2 & 3

I can't remember the detail but I think 2 was Cloth Recaro seats, 3 was Momo leather (I think)

The black dash has red lights and its lit when the engine is running.

It should have the carbon look centre console, the wood is from a Lusso. Lusso has white instruments and wood wheel, which suggests its a retro fit.

Sportpack has sideskirts.

In the end Sportpack was dropped and Veloce came out...

You could pretty much specify any combination of anything.

Its possible, especially given the age of the car, that the suspension has been upgraded, which is not a problem.

Its also possible that its a Lusso, with Sportpack, Lusso could translate to "Rich"

It could be Veloce with Lusso pack...

As I say, they fitted what they found at the factory, part of the charm.

Its a Busso V6, it'll sound fantastic.

Very interesting :D
I am not excluding that car that I am buying or my friend's car were upgraded, it's very curious how 156 can surprise.
About sound of busso, that's one of things that made me wanting to it badly :D
By the way you think or know, can I get information how the car got out from factory? Will actuall AR dealership be able to know such thing?
Eper is not showing everything

The SP 1,2,3 was a UK spec, across Europe the specs varied quite a lot, and lets face most turned up in a spec slightly different to that ordered and indeed what the build sheet said.

My 03 156 was like this and the 06 159, the rest were pretty much as ordered.

If you have the VIN details etc, then you might be able to get the details, but in the end its irrelevent.

If you like it, buy it & love it
